AI prospecting: researched lists and personal emails — sent only when you say yes
Our AI prospecting service finds the companies and decision-makers that fit your offer, drafts a personal email for each from what is public about them, tests subject lines against each other, and tracks replies into your CRM. Nothing is sent without your validation: you see the list and the messages first, and you decide.
What we do for you
- A target definition: sectors, size, location, the role that buys, and the reason they might care now
- Prospect lists built by segment, with the source of each contact recorded
- One personal email draft per prospect, written by AI from public information about the company, reviewed before sending
- A/B tests on subject lines that keep the better version and try a new challenger
- Replies tracked into your CRM, with follow-ups scheduled and prospects who opt out removed for good
- Meeting preparation notes for the calls you book
- A sending pace and volume agreed with you, from a domain set up for it
Who it is for
- Fits: B2B companies with a clear offer and an average deal large enough to justify one-to-one outreach
- Fits: founders and small sales teams who know who they want to reach but lack time to research and write
- Fits: businesses entering a new sector or country
- Does not fit: mass emailing to consumers who never agreed to it — in France that requires prior consent
- Does not fit: anyone wanting to send thousands of identical messages; we write few, specific ones
How it works
- Define who and why. We agree the segments, the buying role and the concrete reason your offer matters to them.
- Build the list. Companies and decision-makers matching each segment, with where each piece of information came from.
- Draft. For each prospect, the AI drafts a short email that refers to something real about their business and states plainly who you are and what you offer.
- You validate. You see the list and every message. You approve, edit or remove. Nothing leaves before that.
- Send and test. Messages go out at the agreed pace. Two subject lines compete; the better one stays and faces a new challenger.
- Track. Replies, bounces and opt-outs are recorded in your CRM. Interested prospects get a meeting-preparation note; those who refuse are never contacted again.
The rules for B2B prospecting by email
In France, the CNIL explains that prospecting professionals by email can rely on the company's legitimate interest when the subject of the message "is related to the profession of the person contacted" — a cleaning offer to an office manager, not a holiday offer. The person must have been informed that their address may be used for prospecting and be able to object. For consumers, the rule is different: prior consent is required.
Every message must, according to the CNIL, let the recipient know the identity of the organisation sending it and refuse further messages "by a simple means". The GDPR states that a person can object at any time to processing for prospecting, after which their data "shall no longer be processed for such purposes" (Article 21). And prospect data is not kept forever: the CNIL's reference for commercial management allows three years from collection or the prospect's last contact.
We apply this in every campaign: B2B only, a message tied to the person's job, the sender clearly named, a one-line way to opt out, a suppression list that is never ignored. Our guide to B2B cold email rules goes into the details.
What we have built
We have run outbound prospecting with segmented prospect lists, AI-drafted personal emails, subject-line A/B tests that improve themselves over time, and replies tracked into a CRM — always with nothing sent before validation. Our business development assistant, GrowthPilot (presented on takat.ai), covers the same ground for teams who want to run it themselves: lead discovery, decision-maker sourcing, outreach drafts, meeting preparation and follow-ups.
What a good outreach email looks like
| Bad practice | What we write instead |
|---|---|
| Generic praise of the company | One specific, verifiable observation about their business |
| Vague promises of growth | What you offer, for whom, in one sentence, with no invented figure |
| Hidden sender, no way out | Your name and company, and a simple way to refuse further emails |
| Five automatic follow-ups | A small number of follow-ups agreed with you, stopped at the first reply or refusal |
| Thousands of identical messages | Fewer messages, each one reviewed |
What we need from you
- Your offer, the problems it solves and the clients it fits best
- Who should appear as the sender, and their signature
- Access to your CRM, or our CRM setup
- Time to validate lists and messages before each batch
Questions we get
Will you send emails without my approval?
No. You see the list and every message before anything is sent, and you can edit or remove any of them.
Is cold email legal?
In France, B2B prospecting by email can rely on legitimate interest when the message relates to the recipient's profession, they were informed and can object, and every message identifies the sender with a simple way to opt out. Consumer prospecting needs prior consent. Rules differ by country; we check yours.
Does AI write the emails?
AI drafts each email from public information about the prospect. A person checks it, and you validate it, before sending.
How many emails will you send?
A pace and volume agreed with you. We favour fewer, specific messages over volume.
Can you promise meetings?
No. We report what was sent, opened where measurable, replied and booked, and adjust from there.
