A fast website, built or rebuilt for you and kept up to date

Our website service builds a new site or rebuilds the one you have: light, fast pages that load well on a phone, written so people and search engines understand what you do, in as many languages as you need, with contact forms wired to your inbox or CRM. We host it, keep it secure and update it, and you approve every page before it goes live.

What we do for you

  • A short plan: the pages people actually need (what you do, for whom, prices or how to get a quote, contact), not a maze of menus
  • Copy written with you, the answer to each page's question in its first lines, every claim true and every figure sourced
  • Fast static pages, checked against Google's Core Web Vitals and with Lighthouse before launch
  • Several languages, each written for its readers, with the right language tags between versions
  • SEO basics: unique titles and descriptions, descriptive URLs, image alt text, structured data that matches the page, sitemap
  • Redirects from your old addresses when we rebuild, so existing links and rankings are not thrown away
  • Contact forms connected to your inbox or CRM; analytics with a fair consent banner
  • Hosting on our own server with daily backups and HTTPS, or on your hosting if you prefer

Who it is for

  • Fits: businesses whose site is slow, dated, hard to edit or not readable on a phone
  • Fits: companies that need a clear site in two or three languages
  • Fits: owners who want someone else to keep the site running and up to date
  • Does not fit: sites that need hundreds of templates or a complex members' area; that is a web app project

What we have built

We have rebuilt the website of a wind-energy company as a fast static site, built a site for a biowaste company, and prepared the redesign of a law firm's site in New Delhi, India (not yet live). Our own agency site scores 100 in Lighthouse, Google's open-source tool that audits pages for performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO. We also run 38 sites of our own in French, English and German.

A good Lighthouse score is a sign of a well-built page, not a promise of rankings or sales; we use it as a check, not as a selling point.

Fast on purpose

Google's Core Web Vitals guidance asks for the main content to load within 2.5 seconds (Largest Contentful Paint), for the page to respond to interactions in under 200 milliseconds (Interaction to Next Paint) and for the layout to shift less than 0.1 (Cumulative Layout Shift). Google says good scores align with what its core ranking systems seek to reward, alongside other page experience aspects. We reach these thresholds mainly by building less: static pages, few scripts, images sized for the screen.

Built to be found

Google's SEO starter guide is frank: there is no secret that ranks a site first automatically, and some changes take hours while others take months. What it recommends is useful, original, well-organised content, descriptive URLs, unique and accurate title links, short meta descriptions specific to each page, and short descriptive alt text for images. Every site we build follows that list from day one, and can then be improved month by month with our SEO service.

How a project runs

  1. Audit. What your current site has, what it ranks for, which pages bring enquiries.
  2. Plan. The list of pages and what each one answers, approved by you.
  3. Writing and design. Copy and layout page by page, tested on a 390-pixel phone and on desktop.
  4. Launch. Redirects, sitemap, Search Console, analytics; a final check of every form.
  5. Afterwards. Hosting, updates, backups and small changes, on the terms agreed.

What we need from you

  • Access to your domain and current site, or the name of whoever holds them
  • Your logo, photos and anything you want kept from the current site
  • The facts only you know: services, conditions, areas, legal mentions
  • A person who approves each page within an agreed delay

Questions we get

Do you use WordPress?

Usually not. We build fast static sites that need few updates and are hard to break. If you must keep a CMS, we can work with it, and we tell you what it costs in speed.

Who owns the site?

You do: the domain, the content and the code. If you leave, we hand everything over.

Will my new site rank better?

A faster, clearer site helps, but no one can promise rankings. We keep your existing pages' value with redirects and then improve the pages that matter, measuring each change.

Can I edit the site myself?

For simple text changes, yes, with an editing method we agree at the start. Most clients prefer to send us changes and let us publish them, checked.
