Car garages: be the one people call, and never miss the call
A driver picks a garage on Google Maps, often the same day, then calls or sends a message. We keep your Google Business Profile complete and accurate, put the information people check on your site, and build a WhatsApp assistant that answers, books and follows up on quotes while you are under a car.
How drivers choose a garage
Most searches are urgent and local: "garage near me", "brake pads" plus a town, "MOT" or "contrôle technique" with a date in mind. The answer is a map with three or four garages. Google says local results depend on relevance, distance and popularity, that businesses with complete and accurate information are more likely to show up, and that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking.
Then drivers compare quickly: recent reviews and how the owner answers them, opening hours, whether the garage handles their make, and whether someone answers the phone. A garage that does not pick up during the morning rush loses the job to the next pin on the map.
Where a garage's time goes
- Phone calls in the middle of a job: price questions, "is my car ready?", appointment changes.
- Quotes that are never followed up: the customer says "I'll think about it" and nobody calls back.
- Reminders: service, tyres, inspection dates that the customer forgets and the garage forgets to remind.
- Admin: repair orders, invoices and parts orders typed twice.
What we would build for a garage
- Google Business Profile in order: the right categories and services, real hours including holidays, current photos, and replies to every review. Google forbids offering anything in exchange for a review and forbids asking only happy customers; we help you ask every customer the same fair way. See local SEO.
- A WhatsApp assistant on the official WhatsApp Business Platform that answers common questions, books a slot in your calendar, tells the customer when the car is ready (from what your team enters) and hands over to a person whenever needed. It has a daily usage cap, a dry-run mode and an off switch. See WhatsApp AI agents.
- Quote follow-up: every quote gets a polite reminder at a date you choose, and the answer goes back into a simple CRM. See custom CRM.
- A site that answers: services, makes you handle, how booking works, where you are. One page per real service, not twenty town pages. See websites.
- Small, capped local ads on a few exact searches when the profile alone is not enough, created paused, with a daily cap and a stop rule written before launch. See Google Ads.
A French rule that also concerns your website
In France, since 1 October 2024, the Consumer Code (articles R224-22 and following) requires professionals who maintain and repair vehicles to let customers choose circular-economy parts instead of new ones for certain categories (removable bodywork, interior trim, non-glued glazing, optics, some mechanical and electronic parts), with exceptions. A clear notice must be displayed at reception, and article D224-25-2 states that the same information must appear on the garage's website. The customer's choice must be recorded on a durable medium before the work is agreed.
When we build or rewrite a garage's site, we add that information on a page of its own, written from the official text, and we can make the booking or quote flow record the customer's choice.
Questions we get
Can the WhatsApp assistant give prices?
Only the ones you give it, such as fixed-price services. For anything that needs a diagnosis, it books an inspection or passes the conversation to a person. It never invents a price.
Do you buy reviews or post them for us?
No. Google's rules forbid incentives and selective requests for reviews. We help you ask every customer in the same way and answer every review, good or bad.
Will it work with our garage management software?
We check what your software can export or connect to before promising anything. If it has an official API, we connect to it; if not, we start with your calendar and a simple CRM.
Can you promise we will be first on Google Maps?
No one can honestly promise that. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and popularity and says a better ranking cannot be bought. We improve what you control and report what changed.
